COME ONE COME ALL TO MINI-MINGUS!

Due to the unfortunate cancellation of our yearly intergenerational retreat at Mingus Springs Camp, we will have MINI- MINGUS instead! So grab the kids and come to an intergenerational time of fun in SCUCC’s Bond Hall (aka Fellowship Hall) on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 4:30 pm. We’ll start out with games for everyone, then a pot-luck supper, and finally hold the annual Talentless Talent Show at about 7:00pm. Afterwards any who wants to stay up late can stay for board games and s’mores! As with every Mingus Retreat below is the list of stuff to pack and bring to MINI-MINGUS:

1. 1.A pot-luck dish to share with the serving utensil(s) to serve it,
2. 2.Plates, napkins and eating utensils for everyone in your family,
3. 3.Beverages for your family and/or cups to fill at the water fountain,
4. 4.Any props, costumes, musical instruments, make-up, etc., needed to participate in the Talentless Talent Show, if participating,
5. 5.Favorite board games and decks of cards,
6. 6.And the Mingus spirit of fun and relaxation.

If we can’t go to the mountain, we’ll bring the mountain to us.
