Open & Affirming (ONA)

SCUCC welcomes into our full life and ministry persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. We have been an “open and affirming” congregation since 1998 when, after a Bible study series of prayer and exploration, we updated our Constitution with an official Open and Affirming Statement. We recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of our being an Open and Affirming congregation, and updated our Open and Affirming Statement.
