JOIN US FOR A BOOK DISCUSSION ON THE BIBLE

In conjunction with our July worship series on “Prospecting: digging into the Bible,” we are offering a book discussion group on Reading the Bible Again for the First Time, by Marcus Borg. 

Sundays at 12:30 – 2:00 pm beginning on July 8^th.  Lunch will be provided.  Child care will be available if requested.

Our worship series will draw on the themes of the book, and it will be fun to share some time together to go into further depth on these themes.  Please plan to join us!

[We had earlier thought to discuss The Bible: a biography, by Karen Armstrong, but during the worship planning process it became clear that the Borg book served us better for this series.  The Armstrong book is well worth reading also, and we could certainly have a discussion of it later if there is interest.]
