Material Aids

Material Aids helps those in our community who are in need by making and distributing quilts that provide warmth and comfort to adults and children alike, and also by assembling layettes that are donated to the Crisis Center. These bring loving and caring help to mothers who would otherwise be unable to provide adequate care to their newborn infants.

The group also makes Prayer Shawls that are given out to new members, members with health problems or surgeries, and members who are moving away.m They also make quilts that are given to the homeless via Family Promise, and lap robes that go to hospice chaplains to give out.

Except for summer months, the Material Aids group meets at the church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
