Youth

We have a vital, vibrant Christian Education program that focuses on nurturing our youth as they form their relationships with God, their faith, and the church. We listen to and support them, encourage them, and give them opportunities to build relationships with other youth as they build firm foundations. Together we celebrate and welcome every child.

In addition to our weekly youth service held during Sunday morning church at 10 a.m., there are several events throughout the year for children and youth.

Children and Youth Education

Each Sunday the Children's Church program provides age appropriate opportunities to worship, grow in faith, serve others, and build community. We do this by praying, exploring the day's theme through music, art, dance, drama, storytelling, gardening, multi-media, and ritual. Weather permitting, the children also spend some time each week simply playing together on the playground.

We believe in building meaningful connections and providing faith formation activities for every youth who walks through our doors.

In addition to Children's Church for ages 5 and up, nursery care is offered for children 0 through age 4 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m..

Youth Activities

We empower our youth by including their voices in planning activities, events, and worship participation.

They participate in exciting and relevant extension activities beyond just Children's Church and they take an active role in developing these activities and events.

A few of our past activities include: decorating our youth rooms, creating art pieces to display in a gallery show, creating crafts, watching movies together, staycation sleepovers, traveling to animal sanctuaries and more.
